Dr. Samantha Ziegler
Director or Optometry at Maple Grove Eye Doctors at Pearle Vision, Dr. Ziegler is happy to be back living in NE Minneapolis and working with the team of Maple Grove Eye Doctors at Pearle Vision in the community where she grew up. In her free time, Dr. Ziegler enjoys finding new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, Calvin (as of July 2018!) who is currently in law school.

  • Dr. Samantha Ziegler grew up in Maple Grove and then attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. She obtained her Degree of Optometry from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, in June 2018.

Dr. Ben Hume
Dr. Hume and his family with wife, Shelly, & their 2 toddlers, Whitley and Weston, and baby, Wells. Born in Feb. 2020, have moved here from Colorado to be closer to family so they?ve built a new home in Mound, a few blocks from Lake Minnetonka, & close to one of his sisters and her family. The family is trading mountains for lakes and family!

Dr. Hume enjoys long distance running so he?s looking forward to exploring Minnesota trails & parks. He?s also a lifelong diehard Twins and Vikings fan.

Dr. Mark Korthals grew up in Northwestern Iowa and obtained his optometry degree at The Illinois College of Optometry in 2004. Dr. Korthals resides in Mound with his wife, Lisa, who has her Masters in Theology, is an author and founder of a non-profit Help for All, and daughters, Lexi and Ashley. He enjoys anything sports related and spending time with his family.

Dr. Hendricks relocated here from Orange County, CA with his wife Katherine Jones, grew up in Madison, WI. Katherine is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and has her own clinic here! Finn, their cat, is still deciding how HE likes Minnesota. Matt likes cooking and then eating, his cooking, weightlifting, hiking, and board games.

Dr. Rachel Knutson
In her free time Dr. Knutson enjoys walking and baking. Her husband, Quentin is a newly graduated pediatric dentist. They love spending time with their pets: Copper (goldendoodle), Safi (calico cat) and Kale (bunny), and their toddler, Phoenix and baby, Freya! Dr. Knutson is thrilled to be part of the Maple Grove Eye Doctors team and looks forward to seeing you soon!

Dr. Perreault and her fiance Salvatore reside in Saint Louis Park, MN. Salvatore, is currently in school to be a veterinary technician. Guess what? They currently have three cats, two dogs, and a few fish tanks, and Dr. Perreault says that she would not be surprised if that list continues to grow, as Salvatore starts his career😊. Her hobbies include hiking with their dogs, gardening, and spending time at the lake where they love going to visit her parents to spend time boating, fishing, & swimm
